The Traditionalist Party of Amalfi (Amalfitan: Societas Traditionalis Amalphitana, ST) is a conservative party in Amalfi. It was founded in 1958. The party has long been one of the main political parties in the Senate of Amalfi. It was a government party from 1982 until 2015 and, with the appointment of Sudius Latorus Regeferrarius, has had more principes than any other modern party at 20. Since 2004, its party leader has been Alsus Lusinus Tarzyeni.
The Traditionalist Party briefly fell from power in 1995, amid the Tagosi Crisis, when internal conflicts over the issue of colonies' rights led to a third of its sitting senators resigning, but was able to negotiate a coalition government with the Republican Party. Most of the resigned Traditionalists went on to form the Libertarian Party under the leadership of senator Gaiena Aquidora Roterni. The Traditionalists emerged as the second largest party, behind the Republican Party, with the Libertarians in a close third. In the 2005 general elections the Libertarians overtook the Traditionalists in number of seats in the senate, and in the 2015 general election the Traditionalists fell from power, defeated by the Libertarians. The Traditionalist Party currently holds 57 seats.
