The Asterian Forum for Development and Cooperation is headed by a Secretary-General (Gaullican: secrétaire général), currently Ornell Elliot from Imagua and the Assimas. It rotates every five years among the member states of the Asterian Forum for Development and Cooperation.
The Secretary-General's main responsibilities are to represent the Asterian Forum for Development and Cooperation as an equivalent to the head of state, as well as being the chief administrative officer of the Asterian Forum for Development and Cooperation.
