The Navy Royal is the combined naval and air force of Great Nortend. It is commonly dated to the arrival of the House of Anthord to Great Nortend, at first consisting of the fleet which brought Edmund V to Galepool. It is considered a green-water navy tasked with defence as well as international co-operative operations.

The international and domestic prefix for ships of the Navy Royal is HEMS (His/Her Erbonian Majesty's Ship). Warships are classified as frigates, corvettes, sloops and submarines.
