Amelectrica, officially the Central Company of Amathian Electricity "Amelectrica" (Amathian: Ⰽⱁⰿⱂⰰⱀⰹⰰ Ⰽⰵⱀⱅⱃⰰⰾⱐ ⰴⰵ Ⰵⰾⰵⰽⱅⱃⰹⰽⰹⱅⰰⱅⰵ Ⰰⰿⰰⱚⰹⰰⱀⱐ "Ⰰⰿⰵⰾⰵⰽⱅⱃⰹⰽⰰ" , tr. Compania Centrală de Electricitate Amathiană "Amelectrica") is a state-owned company in Amathia, specialized in electric power supply and distribution. It is the sole electric power distribution company in the country, and as such, it is extremely important for Amathia, receiving important shares of government funds. It cooperates with generation companies such as Amatom or Hidroelectricam in order to operate Amathia's electricity network, and it also works together with foreign companies in order to administer and operate the transit of electricity and other energy resources through the country's grid.
Amelectrica is divided into three structures, Amelectrica Distrib (Ⰰⰿⰵⰾⰵⰽⱅⱃⰹⰽⰰ Ⰴⰹⱄⱅⱃⰹⰱ), focused on distribution, Amelectrica Rez (Ⰰⰿⰵⰾⰵⰽⱅⱃⰹⰽⰰ Ⱃⰵⰸ), operating the few electricity generating sources that Amelectrica owns directly, and Amelectrica Serv (Ⰰⰿⰵⰾⰵⰽⱅⱃⰹⰽⰰ Ⱄⰵⱃⰲ), the general maintenance structure of the power grid.
The name of the company is an inversed abbreviation of "Electricitate Amathiană", Amathian Electricity.
