Mission Hale
Mission Hale was the first counteroperation carried out by the Heimdallr Task Forces against the Neocon Task Forces during Operation Downfall, which involved an "assassination" of Field Marshal Kiriya Kitagawa in order to lure the Neocon's guard down, followed by a raid on Hotel Gandia in Rumania by the following day with the assassination of Harold Shepherd Roth and the capture of several Neocon officials in the hotel.
After much investigation, Kitagawa had found out that he was to be assassinated, along with Roth signing the unconditional surrender of all Heimdallr forces, and the kidnapping of HM The King. He immediately prepared for a counteroperation such that Kitagawa planted a double in his place. By the time the assassination took place, Kitagawa immediately ordered the Heimdallr Task Forces to head over to Rumania, where the supposed peace summit was to be held at.
In 25 March 2038, the 3 Heimdallr Task Forces, along with volunteers from the East Europan Vodka Regiment managed to make their way to the Hotel, where the summit took place. The raid began at 2pm, with Gallian General Harold Shepherd Roth being assassinated by sniper fire, which signalled the Heimdallr forces to storm the hotel and raid the area. At least 25 died in the encounter, with 31 wounded. Following Roth's assassination, Kitagawa immediately ordered his men to carry out the final phase, which was raiding one of Task Force Nicator's most important headquarters in Lorica. On the night of 29 March, Heimdallr operatives stormed the headquarters and began to loot any information found. In this confrontation, more than 47 died in the encounter and wounding 51 garrisoned troops.
Immediately after this, Colonel Yamato Kitagawa launched Mission Breaking Point, which was the final phase of the counteroperations during Downfall, in which Kitagawa engaged with elements of Task Force Nicator with the objective of rescuing HM The King.
