Horiko Tomiyo, otherwise known as the Magical Girl Galaxy Gem is the current Prime Shoujo and head of the government of Magia Regnum. As Prime Shoujo, Horiko is responsible for maintaining the peace and stability of Magia Regnum. She takes this duty seriously and will stop at nothing to protect her people, even if it means putting herself in harm's way. Her leadership and brash attitude has earned her the respect and admiration of many, and she is widely regarded as one of the greatest Prime Shoujos of all time.
Early Life
Horiko's early childhood was one marked by constant turmoil and instability. Despite coming from a wealthy family, she was often the target of bullying at school, which left her feeling isolated and alone. This was compounded by the fact that her home life was equally chaotic, with her parents often arguing and fighting. As a result of these experiences, Horiko developed a deep sense of mistrust towards others. She struggled to form meaningful relationships and often found it difficult to express her emotions. Despite her intelligence and natural talent, she became withdrawn and reserved, preferring to keep to herself. Despite her struggles with trust and forming meaningful relationships,
Horiko did form an early bond with Haruka Asato, who would go on to become the chief of the seiki kaikan. Haruka was one of the few people who showed Horiko kindness during her childhood, and this had a profound impact on her. Haruka was also a magical girl aspirant, and the two quickly bonded over their shared experiences and desire to protect others. Horiko found that she was able to open up to Haruka in a way that she couldn't with others, and the two became close friends. For Horiko, Haruka represented a beacon of hope in an otherwise dark and turbulent world. Her friendship with Haruka helped her to see that there was still goodness and kindness in the world, and that she didn't have to face her struggles alone. This early bond would prove to be instrumental in shaping Horiko's path as a magical girl and leader in Magia Regnum.
