Gazam, officially the Central Company of Amathian Natural Gas "Gazam" (Amathian: Ⰽⱁⰿⱂⰰⱀⰹⰰ Ⰽⰵⱀⱅⱃⰰⰾⱐ ⰴⰵ Ⰳⰰⰸ Ⱀⰰⱅⱆⱃⰰⰾ Ⰰⰿⰰⱚⰹⰰⱀ "Ⰳⰰⰸⰰⰿ" , tr. Compania Centrală de Gaz Natural Amathiană "Gazam") is a state-owned company in Amathia, being the country's largest natural gas producer and biggest natural gas supplier. Amgaz deals with the uncovering, organization, exploitation, storage, and commercialization of Amathia's natural gas resources. The majority of the company's shares are owned by the Government of Amathia, through the Ministry of Energy.
Amgaz operates as four complementary structures, Gazam Exp (Ⰳⰰⰸⰰⰿ Ⰵⱈⱂ), focused on research, Gazam Pro (Ⰳⰰⰸⰰⰿ Ⱂⱃⱁ), dealing with the actual exploitation of natural gas resources, Transgazam (Ⱅⱃⰰⱀⱄⰳⰰⰸⰰⰿ), managing the commercialization and supplying of natural gas, and Gazam Serv (Ⰳⰰⰸⰰⰿ Ⱄⰵⱃⰲ), tasked with the maintenance of the production and distribution network.
Gazam is the abbreviation of the name "Gaz Natural Amathian".
