Hysera (pronounced /hɪsɛrɑː/), officially the Ancient Realm of Hysera (Ahéri: Saraalú Lensa ti'Hysera) is a sovereign state under the Sidereal Crown, located in western Teudallum. It is bordered by Arimathea, Trellinese provinces of Emla, Saheri and Trelum, and the Sea of Jajich. It has a total landmass of 23,125 square kilometres, subdivided into three provinces: Hysera, Tenedos and Zha'tar.
Hysera is governed as an absolute monarchy, the seat of which is located at the historic capital of Hyser, though the modern economic centre and legislative capital is Ledigar. Often considered a constituent nation of the Trellinese Empire, it is de jure an independent nation, though to all intents and purposes it acts in union with the Trellinese government. Its monarch, since 2014, is Azara V.
