Public holidays in Vierzland

There are a variety of public holidays in Vierzland. The Federal Holidays Act of 1992 designates a federal holiday (Bundesfeiertag) as a "public, nationwide event that celebrates a date relevant to the whole history of the Federation and its people."

Vierzland recognizes eight secular public holidays and X Wedian holidays. The most prominent of these are Unification Day on 7 June and Victory Day on 24 July. A public holiday in Vierzland results in the temporary closure of all nonessential schools, businesses, workplaces, and activities.

7 June	Unification Day	Tag der Vereinigung	Commemorates the Treaty of Epirac signed on 7 June 1766, which ended the First Apelic War and created the Vierz Empire. Considered the national day of Vierzland.
14 July	Heinrich Werner Day	Heinrich Werner-Tag	Birthday of Heinrich Werner, the first Chancellor of the federation.
24 July	Victory Day	Tag des Sieges	Celebrates Vierzland's victory in the Great War after the surrender of Vorochia on 24 July 1947.
3 September	Second Remembrance Day	Zweiter Gedenktag	Memorial day for the 1988 Vierz coup d'état attempt.
25 October	Constantine Day	Konstantin-Tag	Birthday of Constantine the Great, the first Emperor of Vierzland.
