The Big Five refers to the Allied forces' leading military generals with regards to the handling of both ground and special operations. It was composed of Lucian Field Marshal Kiriya Kitagawa as the overall leader and figurehead of the Big Five, Quenminese General Phùng Minh Thiệu, Joyonghean General Bo Tae-sung, Aurucolian General Mevludin Abarronbašić, and Bethausian General Zeya Tun. The five military commanders have been described as the most capable and intellectual leaders that the Allies had ever fielded. Tracing their beginnings when the five men were under Task Force 131 in the 1980s, the five men, with their experiences had managed to create some of the best Task Force formations ever formed, namely Task Force 141, Task Force 219, and Task Force 853 with Kitagawa being the brainchild of creating the next generation of Task Force Special Operations Forces, which traces its roots during the Second Europan War as a creation of his grandfather, Field Marshal Daidoji Kitagawa. Outside of work, the five men have been tight since the 1980s and are close friends, with their families being tight with each other.

During the Chalcedonic and Neocon Wars, the Big Five were subjected to numerous anti-Heimdallr operations in an attempt to undermine their counteroperations. Kitagawa had arranged for Thieu's rescue through his friend, Vladimir Federov Pavlov in 2025. Tae-sung was rescued by TF 141 operatives later that year. Zeya Tun was the last general to be rescued following Tae-sung. Abarronbašić was already in Erebonia following Aurucolia's splintering. The rescued generals, along with their families and men were granted asylum by the Erebonian Government and were subsequently given Erebonian citizenship. The inclusion of Seleucids into the Heimdallr task forces in 2030 saw the inclusion of Tryphonic Council leader Prince Abdul Rashid into the group, renaming them as The Big Six.

The Neocons had attempted to match the five men's wits in a show of force and counteroperations through General Chang Gwan-mook, their former colleague, along with General Darius Tillman and Admiral Godefroy Couturier through the trio's creation of Task Force Nicator, which was created to counter the Heimdallr Task Forces and the Imperial Geheimabteilung. Nicator had attempted to further advance their abilities by possessing futuristic weapons and Seleucid artifacts that placed itself ahead of Kitagawa's Task Forces. Although the former was deemed as the most powerful and elite Task Force during the Neocon War, the Neocons were never able to possess any commander of the same calibre as was seen in Marshal Kitagawa, who was deemed as the Neocon's most dangerous enemy. Although they had plotted out several assassination attempts, Marshal Kitagawa was always able to outmaneuver them.

The Commanders

Kiriya Kitagawa

Field Marshal Kiriya Kitagawa

Field Marshal Sir. Kiriya Kitagawa (21 July 1965) is a Lucian military commander and leader, recognised as one of the Allies most effective and popular military commanders, he was known for his early exposure to special operations tactics and was the youngest Colonel in the Lucis Army at the age of 23. He is the youngest of the Big Five. In addition, he was an able ground commander as shown with his spectacular performance during the The Troubles of 1998 and during the Second Lucis Civil War. He is the grandson of Field Marshal Sir. Daidoji Kitagawa, the original creator of the Allied Special Operations Task Forces during the War of Lorican Aggression.

Prior to the Imperial Crisis, Kitagawa oversaw the creation of Task Force 141 in 2014, widely considered as the first Allied Task Force in existence following the demobilisation of the Special Operations Airbourne Force. It was considered as the spiritual successor to Task Force 131. Following this, his colleagues would create Task Force 219 and Task Force 853.

During the Imperial Crisis, Kitagawa had been the overall commander of all Allied Task Forces. His promotion to field marshal came after Operation Plumber, when Allied forces had retaken much of the lost territory following the Lunar New Year Offensive thanks in part to Kitagawa's tact strategies. He would continuously serve as head of the Allied Special Operations Division until in 2023, when he was sacked following his defiance of the now Neocon-controlled Allied High Council's orders to abandon the search for the lost men during The Olegrad Incident.

During the Chalcedonic War, Kitagawa distanced himself and TF 141 from the Neocons following their 2025 Invasion of Indiae. When Kitagawa again tried to open the investigation, he was eventually tagged as a war criminal by the Neocons, and as a result, he and the rest of TF 141 escaped to Erebonia following the closure of the Makihiro Sagisaka International Base by the Neocons and opened their new headquarters at Fort Daidoji Kitagawa. His friend, Marshal Thieu was arrested but thanks in part to Kitagawa's contacts, Thieu, along with the rest of Task Force 219 escaped to Erebonia. The remainder of Task Force 853 followed Mevludin in Erebonia. From here, Kitagawa would direct operations against the Imperials, and later on, against the Neocons. It was also here where Kitagawa faced Task Force Nicator, a more technologically advanced and superior task force group created by the Neocons to counter both the Imperials and the Heimdallr task forces.

Later on during the Neocon War, Kitagawa was the target of several Neocon assassination attempts to undermine the Heimdallr Council's Special Operations forces. However, all largely failed due to Kitagawa's calculating nature. It was during this conflict that Kitagawa came to several blows with TF Nicator. It was not until Operation Downfall where TF Nicator came the closest to defeating Kitagawa and the Heimdallr Task Forces. Nicator had promptly "assassinated" Kitagawa and kidnapped HM The King in a bid to turn the tide of the war. However, thanks to the courage of the Heimdallr TFs and the local resistance, Nicator was promptly defeated in the open field.

During the conflict, Kitagawa permitted the hunt for Seleucid artifacts as his help was enlisted by Prince Abdul Rashid, realising that the artifacts must not fall into Neocon hands, lest its powers be unleashed and Kitagawa knew that the artifacts carry serious consequences, especially the Kataibatic Tablet. However, Rashid would disobey Kitagawa and instead went after the tablet. The operation to retrieve it failed as Rashid's forces suffered heavy casualties. Upon knowing of Rashid's disobedience, Kitagawa reprimanded the entire TF personnel for not preventing Rashid's operation. With his most loyal officer disobeying his orders, Kitagawa promptly chose to resign and leave the overall command of the Heimdallr TFs to his son, Yamato. After many attempts of his colleagues to reverse his decision, he made his resignation final after submitting his resignation later to HM the King. He would, however, remain in command of the LCAE.

However, unknown to many, his resignation was only a ploy to lure the Neocons into a false sense of security by which it had allowed them to activate the tablet and plunging the world into the Kataibatic Cataclysm. Kitagawa had secretly prepared a contingency plan to arrest the several Neocon leaders following their resignation through his old colleague, Eraldo Quasimondo. Kitagawa kept true to his word not to interfere in the affairs of the task forces after his resignation. The events that would transpire would eventually allow his son, Yamato to get close to Ziyaad by the throat, dispatching Rashid during Operation Dawnlight and preventing the activation of the Kataibatic Tablet for a third time. Following the operation, the Neocon War finally ended. Kitagawa, along with the Big Six would serve as the jury for the key surviving Neocon leaders during the Randgriz Trials of 2040-41. Kiriya retired from army life for good in 2042. He now runs a tea and coffee cafe in Leeves and Trista with his wife as Yamato took over from his father's role, while his daughter, Katsuragi Kitagawa became the Chancellor of the Thors Military Academy.

Phùng Minh Thiệu

Quenminese Marshal Phùng Minh Thiệu

Quenminese Marshal Phùng Minh Thiệu (December 17, 1955) is a Quenminese military officer and commander known for his early roles in the further development of Quenmin's specialised infantry doctrine. He soon found himself assigned to Task Force 131 during the 1980s as Quenmin's contribution during the Post-War of Lorican Aggression Crisis, in which he was sent to Erebonia along with a handful of Quenminese special operations forces. He soon became a close friend of then-Colonel Kiriya Kitagawa, in which this friendship would become one of the most recognised friendships in the Allied forces. Thiệu would become Kitagawa's second-in-command and most loyal adviser. He is also the most adept when it came to waging guerilla warfare, something which was seen during the Neocon War, when Kitagawa gave Thiệu the task of committing guerilla warfare against the invading Neocons.

In the 1990s, TF 131 was demobilised and as a result, Thiệu and the rest of the non-Commonwealth personnel were sent back to their native lands to be a part of their countries respective special forces groups. He would reunite with Kitagawa several times in 1998, 2006, and later in 2014, when he was involved in the creation of the first modern Allied Task Force group which became Task Force 141. He would later go on to create Task Force 219 in response to Kitagawa's widening of the Allied Task Force operations across Eordis. He would serve under Kitagawa during the Imperial Crisis.

Later during the events of the Chalcedonic War, Thiệu was charged with treason for allowing Kitagawa's escape rather than having him driven to Bai Bien Ngao Penitentiary Prison to stand trial for "treason". However, Kitagawa's contacts later allowed Thiệu to escape to Erebonia by means of Lorica along with Task Force 219 personnel, where he and the rest of TF 219 were given asylum by the Erebonian Government at the request of Kitagawa. Throughout the Chalcedonic and Neocon Wars, Thieu would provide Kitagawa with various detailed information in the Neocon countries thanks in part to Thiệu's loyalists who remained defiant of the Neocon government in Quenmin.

When Kitagawa resigned in 2039 following Rashid's disobedience and turned over the command of all Task Forces to his son, Yamato; Thieu did everything to persuade his colleagues to accept Kitagawa's decision as they still could not imagine the younger Kitagawa leading them because of his tumultuous history. However, Thiệu was successful in accepting Marshal Kitagawa's decision overtime. It was also Thiệu that saw how Yamato had becoming like his father, only more ruthless and unforgiving. He acted as Yamato's advisor until he resigned following the Randgriz Trials of 2040-41. He now lives in retirement in Erebonia.

Bo Tae-sung

Marshal Bo Tae-sung

Marshal Bo Tae-sung (17 June 1955) is a Joyonghean military officer and commander known for his roles as Joyonghea's leading officer on the ground in Task Force 131 during the 1980s. He is also the eldest of the Big Six. He handled Task Force operations in Joyonghea during the Imperial Crisis until in 2024, when he was indicted for treason for leaking information to Marshal Kitagawa. He was consequently jailed as a result, along with other of his personnel consisting of TF 219 and TF 853 Joyonghean personnel.

Later in 2025, Kitagawa plotted a rescue mission of Tae-sung, in which Joyonghean military attache that were still loyal to Kitagawa and Tae-sung arranged for a small raid to rescue him. He and other Joyonghean personnel were smuggled out of Joyonghea and escaped into Erebonia, where he and other loyalists were given asylum and Erebonian citizenship. Tae-sung would later serve as Kitagawa's eyes on Trabia, Lorica, and the Joyonghean peninsula during the Chalcedonic War and later, in the Neocon War.

Following Kitagawa's resignation, Tae-sung could not accept the fact that the position had been given to his younger son. Although he had his initial doubts, when Yamato transferred all personnel to Gallia in fears of a mutiny against him, Tae-sung came to accept the young Kitagawa. He would serve the younger Kitagawa until the end of the war. He retired following the Randgriz Trials of 2040-41.

Mevludin Abarronbašić

General Mevludin Abarronbašić

Aurucolian General Mevludin Abarronbašić (14 February 1957) is an Aurucolian military officer and commander known for his roles within the Allied Task Forces as Aurucolia's leading special operations commander during the Imperial Crisis. He would lead Task Force 853 to three wars until his retirement in 2041.

Known for his strong and built body, Kitagawa described him as someone who could bend 2 packs of plywood in half. Abarron was also a health-conscious individual, often drinking tea every day and was known to have drunk at least 11 cups a day. In their early days, Mevludin was a machine gunner and led Aurucolian personnel within Task Force 131. He also has a strong love of the motherland, hoping that one day, Aurucolia's unity would be in peace. However, the dream was almost destroyed during the Aurucolian Splinter War. It was here where some of the Task Force 131 personnel led by Kitagawa fought some of their bloodiest battles.

He reunited with Kitagawa and the rest of their colleagues throughout the late 90s and 2000s. Later, he was involved in the creation of a new and modern Allied Special Operations Task Force group. This would give birth to Task Force 141. And later, by Kitagawa's orders, Task Force 853, in which Abarron created himself. During the Imperial Crisis. His TF was almost demobilised following the discovery of a traitor in the form of Clarabelle Dinh, in which TF 853 had a short civil war within the ranks. But thanks to Kitagawa, Abarron was able to recompose TF 853 following the arrest of the traitors.

In the years leading to the Chalcedonic War, Aurucolia's government start to destablise with massive protests that had been instigated by the Neocons in an attempt to weaken Aurucolia to allow it to be conquered later on in order to install a Neocon-aligned government. As Kitagawa saw this, he immediately ordered Abarron to leave Aurucolia for the safety of Erebonia, which he agreed. Abarron, along with the remaining TF 853 members escaped to Erebonia where they were granted asylum, making him the first of the Big Six to escape to Erebonia.

He later served with distinction during the Chalcedonic War and later, the Neocon War. He was also instrumental in regaining the loyalty of former TF 853 members who were forcibly ordered to serve the Neocons, particularly Charles Kendrick and Annamarie Nguyen. And when Yamato took over from his father, He worked in convincing him to reinstate Alice Janggok following her decision to defect during the Kataibatic Event, as she had been a former TF 853 personnel. The Young Kitagawa agreed on the condition that Janggok would stand trial following the end of the war, along with other Task Force Nicator personnel who had been involved in the obtaining of the Kataibatic Tablet.

Abarron served until the war's end and was one of the leading members of the jury during the Randgriz Trials of 2040-41. He retired after the trial and lived quietly in his Erebonian residence.

Zeya Tun

Bethausian General Zeya Tun

Bethausian General Zeya Tun (17 June 1959) is a Bethausian officer and field commander known for his roles as Kitagawa's leading man with regards to operations in Southern Lorica and in Bethausia. He, along with a handful of his personnel joined Thieu in the creation of Task Force 219, consisting majority of Quenminese and Bethausian personnel.

In their early years, Zeya was the most quiet individual, often reading works made by Bethausian General and Hero Zaw Sein Arkar, being fascinated by Bethausia's struggles during the Second Europan War. Kitagawa described him as a mysterious individual. He also had eyes of a hawk. As a result, Tun was Kitagawa's sniper during their operations in the late 80s and early 90s. Following Task Force 131's demobilisation, he returned to his native Bethausia along with the rest of the Bethausians in the force. He was later assigned to the Tatmadaw, Bethausia's primary special operations force for his experience during the Post-War of Lorican Aggression Crisis and his exposure to special operations actions with Kitagawa. He would periodically reunite with them in 1998, 2006, and later in 2014, when he and his 4 closest friends were involved in the creation of a modern Task Force group, leading to the creation of Task Force 141, Task Force 219, and Task Force 853.

He served as intelligence and was responsible for directing Allied Task Forces in Bethausia during the Second Bethausian Civil War and is a key planner on the Assault on the Pyamalaw. He would gain numerous awards for this feat. In the events leading up to the Chalcedonic War, he remained in Bethausia but secretly questioned the Neocon government's motives. He was also one of the only Bethausian generals who opposed the planned 2025 Invasion of Indiae. Although he opposed it, his loyalty was not questioned. Kitagawa would later use Zeya as means of gathering intelligence to find out what the Neocons were plotting. When the true nature of their plans was exposed in early 2026, Kitagawa would have him smuggled out of Bethausia along with other Bethausian Task Force 219 personnel. He was granted asylum and Erebonian citizenship as Kitagawa had ordered.

Zeya would use his contacts loyal to him in Bethausia and other regions in South Asianna until the Neocon War. Zeya also helped former TF 219 personnel who wanted to defect to the Heimdallr Council. He was also intrumental in reinstating several former pro-Neocon Bethausian personnel, including Thu Thidar Yadana who served the Neocon Bethausian forces out of order. Zeya would continuously serve until in 2041, when he finally retired. He now lives quietly in Erebonia.

Abdul Rashid

The New Big Six

Following the Neocon War, the Heimdallr Task Forces undertook a complete change in leadership following the resignation of Kitagawa and the others, except for Rashid. This time, the core commanders were now led by Marshal Kitagawa's son, General Yamato Kitagawa. Master Sergeant Saori Suzushiro serves as Yamato's secretary.
