Beatrice, Princess of Dakmoor (Beatrice Marie Louise Victoria; b. 30 December 1990) is a Latin-born Gariman noblewoman and Princess of Dakmoor by marriage.

Beatrice is the fourth child of Louis Ferdinand I, Elector of Morinia, and his eldest child by second wife, Alexandra of Ravenna. She was raised in Ravenna, Latium with her mother, and was educated at Lyceum St Ambrose for secondary school. She graduated from New College at Valle Aurelia, in 2010, with a degree in education. Beatrice was introduced to Benjamin of Dakmoor in 2006; they married in October 2013.

Early life

Beatrice was born on 30 December 1990, at St Maurice-Flaminius National Hospital, in Flaminius, Castellum ab Alba. She is the third child of then Prince Louis Ferdinand of Rahdenburg, and the first child from his marriage to Alexandra Gentry-Ravenna. Her father is now Elector of Morinia and Grand Duke of Polnitsa, and her mother is a Latin noblewoman and Senator of the Progressive faction. She was baptized at Sanctus Vitalus Basilica, in Ravenna. Her godparents were then Jason, Prince of Youth and Stephania Pinaria.

Beatrice resided in a Castellum-based townhouse for the first 7 years of her life. In 1997, Beatrice's parents divorced, resulting in her mother being awarded full custody. Beatrice does not have a relationship with her father. Following this, Beatrice relocated to Ravenna, where she was raised by her mother in her maternal grandfather’s household. Since age seven, she was involved in extracurricular activities at school, including band, where she learned to play the piano, violin, and the flute. Beatrice was a member of the Ravenna Imperial Youth Orchestra until 2007.

Education and career

Beatrice began her education at St Stephen's Nursery and Primary School in 1993, where she would remain until 1997. After her parents divorce, she continued her primary and middle education under the supervision of her grandfather Prince Victor, Duke of Ravenna, who hired private tutors to teach the subjects of history, literature, math, music, and languages. Along with Latin, Beatrice was educated on Aulic, Arthuristian, and Lihnidosi Hellenic.

She did not take a gap year but traveled extensively throughout Belisaria and Scipia the summer before beginning university. In fall 2007, Beatrice enrolled at New College at Valle Aurelia at the University of Castellum Iohannes XIII. While at New College, Beatrce initially studied education, with a focus on primary education, but in her second term changed her focus to music. She was a member of the Progressive Party's student chapter, and served as chapter treasurer her final school year. Beatrice resided at Velia House with a number of close friends throughout university, including Princess Maria of Latium and Antonia Antistia.

Throughout university, Beatrice was a member of the University Philharmonic Orchestra, playing the flute. She was first flute during her final year of schooling. In 2010, she participated in a performance ahead of the banquet for Transvectio Equitum. After earning her degree, Beatrice auditioned for the Adrianople Imperial Symphony Orchestra. She was an alternate member of the Orchestra in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, she performed for the state visit of Peter II of Garima during his tour of Adrianople. She stepped down in 2012 following her engagement. Throughout this time she resided at an Adrianople-based townhouse owned by her grandfather, however she regularly visited Palatium Supranio.

Marriage

Beatrice’s private life has been subject to speculation since her father’s ascension to the throne of Polnitsa, of which he has been Grand Duke since 2005. However, Beatrice fiercely guards her personal life and little is known of her personal relationships prior to her marriage. It is known that Beatrice is a close companion of Princess Maria of Latium. As a result, she was first introduced to her future husband Prince Benjamin of Dakmoor as early as 2006.

No details of her relationship with Benjamin were released prior to the announcement of their engagement in 2013, however the pair was photographed together in both Castellum and Dakar as early as 2010.

Beatrice became engaged to Benjamin of Dakmoor on 22 August 2013. Her father Louis Ferdinand issued a public statement following the engagement announcement, stating that he had not been asked to provide consent to the marriage, and a failure to seek his consent would result in Beatrice’s attainment. They were married in a private ceremony in the chapel of Palatium Ravennae, on 7 October 2013. Following the marriage, her father issued a dynastic attainder, stripping her of all dynastic rights within Morinia and Polnitsa. They held a second ceremony at Dakar Cathedral in May 2015. The second ceremony was originally planned for May 2014, but was postponed due to Beatrice's second pregnancy.

Together, they have five children: Alexandra (February 2014), Elena (January 2015), Victor (August 2016), Samuel (June 2018), and John (March 2020).
