The Socialist Alternative for Euclea (SAE) is a Euclean political party that espouses social democracy, pro-Eucleanism and democratic socialism. It is comprised of a number of major political parties from the EC, such as the Gaullican Social Democrats, the Estmerish Social Democratic and Co-operative Party, the Social Democratic Radical Party of Werania and the Amathian League of Equalists and Democrats. As of 2019, the SAE has a member party in every member-state.
With 190 seats, the group is the largest in the Euclean Parliament, and is a key leading member of the Grand Coalition alongside the smaller ACDE and ELP. The current SAE leader is Hervé Bachelot from the Gaullican Social Democrats.
