Freedom's Sun (instrumental)

Freedom's Sun is the national anthem of Orioni. It was composed in 1520 by Hely Corei, using old lyrics taken from a Taneino period (1318-1500) poem, and set them to music. The lyrics reflected what the people felt for their imperial family after the time of the restoration. The anthem was first presented to and played for large audiences in 1521, on the 2500th anniversary of Anahita's founding of the Queendom.

Lyrics

"Freedom's Sun" (translation)

Far on the horizon,
Rises now the Oriental Sun

Light of the true justice,
echoes on in the ears of time

Voyagers, brave immortal,
true freedom
is imprinted
on our souls

Enduring,
Eternal,
Empire of Orioni
