The Mutulese Oil Company (Mutli: ముతు ఎఖెతహ, Mutal Ek'Taha) is the Mutulese state owned petroleum company managed and operated by the Divine Throne' Ministry of Land Gestion through its Energy-Infrastructure Office. It was formed in 1966 during the Occidentalist era of the Mutul through the nationalization of all private oil companies that operated in the Divine Kingdom in an effort to centralize, rationalize, and develop oil production in the Mutul.
Mut-Ek'taha is one of the founding members of the Association of Oil Producing Nations (AOPN), and is the largest enterprise by annual revenues owned by the Mutul. While there has been many tractations surrounding a potential Privatization since the end of the Occidentalist government, and indeed the Divine Throne participation in the company has been diminished from owning all of the company's stocks to a simple controlling stake between 1981 and 2001, but the current K'uhul Ajaw Jasaw Chan K'awiil V has made public his decision that no more share of Mut-Ek'taha would be sold on the K'uhul Wayib' K'iwik.
Since 1991, Mut-Ek'taha has also heavily invested in the production of biofuels, and multiplied the number of Joint ventures with Rezeses companies in that regard.
