This Gentu-related article is a stub.

The Cyron calendar is the calendar used in most of Gentu. It was introduced in XXX by XXX as a modification of, and replacement for, the XXX calendar. The principal change was to space leap years differently so as to make the average calendar year 365.2425 days long, more closely approximating the 365.2422-day 'tropical' or 'solar' year that is determined by Gentu's revolution around the Sun.

Description

The Cyron calender is a solar calendar with 12 months of 28–31 days each. The years consists of 365 days, with a leap day being added to XXX in the leap years.

A leap year normally occurred every four years, and the leap day was historically inserted by doubling 24 XXX. However, it is now customary to number the days of XXX sequentially with no gaps, and 29 XXX is typically considered the leap day.
