K'onache Man (Born 23 April 1840, died 29 October 1889) was B'ah Ch'ok Ajaw, or Heir apparent of the Mutul from his birth to his death. After he finished his studies at the new Nawi of K'alak Muul (which still exist today as the Ch'akh Ik’ Nawi), he was appointed by his father as Batab of K'alak Muul. His power over the capital would only increase with the years, as he himself became more and more self-assured in his gestion of the city and his father spent more and more time in his other residences, either in Kuhmahkah or Puyim. K'onache Man would notably build the North Star Palace and hold his own court there, with his family, moving from the old Batab Residential Complex. As he died before his father, possibly of Pneumonia, he never became king, and the position of heir apparent was transferred to his eldest daughter : the future Sak K'uk II.
