The Autonomous Republic of Banou has never participated in the WorldVision Song Contest. The republic's broadcasting station, BTR, was set to once make a debut at the 107th edition of the contest hosted in Doportedas,Britonisea with the song "Išlys" performed by Gabriel Manicuna and Dolores, but later ended up withdrawing due to unstated complications.
While not formally participating in the contest, the contest is still watched by a significant following in the nation through local broadcaster BTR and Plangainerian channel AIM.
