Bal Emrith (from Ahéri Balú Amridh ti'Í, meaning "Region of the valleys of wheat"), officially the Landgraviate of Bal Emrith (Trellinese: Metlan Tedremoi Balka Emrith), is a province of the Trellinese Empire. It is the thirteenth smallest by area and the fifth-least populous province. It shares borders with Jajich to the north and Mevirin and Rezat to the south, and is bounded by the Sea of Jajich in the west and the Sea of Velar in the east. Bal Emrith's capital is the city of Taramë.
It covers a total area of 44,637.27 square kilometres and has a population of 1,496,452, making it the second-least densely populated province in the empire, despite much of its land being intensely cultivated. This is a result of agricultural mechanisation in recent decades, with as much as a quarter of the province's work force moving to other areas in the 1990s and sustained emigration thereafter.
