Elejamie participated at the WorldVision Song Contest 33 times since its debut in WorldVision 35, with its most recent appearance being WorldVision 113. The country was one of the most successful countries to have never won the contest, having finished second four times and third once. The country has also hosted a single contest, WorldVision 90, which was held in Avon in the tract of Aventry.

History

Elejamie made its debut in the 35th edition in Fontvieille, Yttrbia after a lengthy period of interest. They were represented by the electronic rock group Electric Blue, who performed the song "The Warp". It finished in 16th place, however it also earned the country its first set of 12 points courtesy of Talvezout. Unfortunately further endeavours and, during this period, the country would see its worst result when Sataeveni Jamuri finished 39th in the 37th edition of the contest in Ë-Mieszkóm, Regica. The country went on a hiatus after the 40th edition, only re-appearing at the landmark 50th edition in Kaslin, Kalosia. There, the electronic duo Monochrome Haze gave the country its then-best result with their entry "Come On, It's Me", finishing in 12th place. Despite this turn of good fortune, it'd go on a lengthy hiatus following the contest for reasons unknown.

In the run-up to the 73rd edition, a spokesperson at ETV One announced that the country would be returning in time for the 74th WorldVision Song Contest. However, they would also mention that it was them "testing the waters" to see if a full return was feasible. In Peeto, Polkopia he went on to finish in 13th place, which was enough for them to consider another go before making a definite decision. At the following edition in Monterra, Kalosia, the electronic duo Fata Morgana managed to secure the country's first podium finish when their song "Angel (I Can Feel You Now)" finished in second place with 122 points. The result was mired in controversy, however, when it was revealed that Vartugia and Saviera had sent wrong votes and they had to be corrected during the show, which saw a number of countries have their points changed. Elejamie was one of the unlucky countries when they had to be docked a point that would've otherwise seen them tie with Polkopia but win on tie-breakers; the incident, nicknamed the Monterra Screwjob after the Montreal Screwjob, saw the country boycott the following edition in protest.

Upon their return in time for the 77th edition in Thatcher City, Mister X, the country was able to secure their second podium finish when Eterna's entry "Goodbye" came in second place with 102 points. The song had been leading throughout the contest but the last set of 12 points saw Tödlichebujoku win the contest instead. This was then followed up with three consecutive top ten finishes: fourth place in the 78th edition, sixth place in the 79th, and another fourth place at WorldVision Song Contest 80. The trio Second Choice would end this streak when they finished in 20th place with 35 points; to date it is the country's last double digit score at the contest. The rest of the 80s would see wild inconsistency, with them finishing in the top ten in even-numbered contests but finishing outside of it in odd-numbered ones.

Elejamie would go on to host the 90th WorldVision Song Contest at the Riverside Arena in Avon, AVEN. There, Manoy would get the country's first top five finish since WorldVision 84 with his song "Underbelly". This was then followed by the country's sole bronze when the rock group The Lads and the Lasses finished third with their song "Your Song" at WorldVision 91 in Haufenburg, Carrelie, as well as a sixth place finish in WorldVision 92. The country would eventually get its third podium finish when Lisa Park and Her Gang came second at the 94th WorldVision Song Contest with their song "Love in the Afternoon", which had also won the televote. After a string of mediocre results seeing a dwindling interest in participation from both fans and artists, Elejamian Broadcasting announced that they would be leaving the contest after the 100th edition. Despite this, Lucía Beltran would finish in fifth place at WorldVision 99, which was good enough to see them automatically qualify for WorldVision 100 in Monterra, where Los Hermanos Bailarines would ultimately finish tenth.

Despite this, there have been calls for the country to return to the competition. They were close to competing at WorldVision 105 in Għain, Malta Comino Gozo, with the girl group DLTA set to represent the country with their song Girls Night Out. However, one of the band members had fallen ill and, with none of her bandmates willing to make the trip without her and there not being enough time to find a replacement, Elejamian Broadcasting instead opted to withdraw from the contest. The country would make a return proper at the 113rd edition in Light City, Saint Monkey. There, they were represented by the punk rap group Perdadores with their song "Odiamos tu canción". Despite not being a favourite to win, it managed to finish in second place behind Malta Comino Gozo. As it was the fourth time that Elejamie had been denied a win at the last minute, EB announced that the country would be withdrawing from all future editions and it has not returned to the contest since.

Special Editions

Elejamie has competed in three special editions. The first, Teams, saw two countries collaborate with each other in some way to produce an entry. The second, RetroVision, was themed around countries sending songs from the 1980s if not a 1980s-themed song. And the third, Second Chance, was for non-winning entries to have a second chance at a potential win.
