Hysera (pronounced /hɪsɛrɑː/) is a province of the Hyseran and Trellinese empires. It borders Zha'tar to the north, Saheri and Trelum to the south and the Sea of Jajich to the west. It is the ninth smallest province by total area, at roughly 16,150 square kilometres (6,240 sq mi), and with 15,660,713 people is the sixth-most populous province. The province's political centre is at Ledigar, though this was historically Hyser's role and Hyser remains the imperial seat.

The west of the province is heavily urbanised, with two major metropolitan areas accounting for the vast majority of its population. Ledigar, near the northern border, is the sixth largest city under the Sidereal Crown and is the centre of a conurbation that extends northward into Zha'tar, incorporating the cities of Pycara and Aloyu, and southern Emla. Hyser, the seventh-most populous city in the empire, is part of a metropolitan network that includes Runiba to the north and Maira, Sanjari and the Trellinese port city of Kavesa in the south.
