The Social and Economic Council (Montecaran: Conségio sociàl ed econòmica, CSE) is a consultative assembly that reviews pending legislation and has primary responsibility for developing Montecara's national income policy agreements. It is made up of delegates of trade unions, industrial organizations, professions, trades and crafts, cooperatives, and representatives of groups outside the labor market. Opinions and recommendations of the council, while not legally binding, facilitate social dialogue and inform the legislative process.
