Neocon War
The Neocon War (15 March 2031 - 14 January 2034), also recognized as the Neoconservative War, was fought between the Heimdallr Council led by the United Kingdom, Erebonian Empire, Gallia-Bruhl, Rubrum, Zanarkand, and New Akiba against the Neocon nations led by Quenmin, Joyonghea, Bethausia, Holy Trabian Empire, Concordia, and their puppet states. The war was the result of the split that occureed among the Allied side during the Eurasianna War.
One of the reasons for the war was the conflict on the issue of the government ruling over the Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance with the Heimdallr Council wanting a Parliamentary Constitutional Monarchy under the rule of Louis Ferdinand I, the brother of Maximillian III and the youngest son of Maximillian II while the Neoconservatives wanted to install a single state republic under a puppet government.
The war was overshadowed as the earthquakes would rock the North Amerigonna front until in 17 November 2033, when the Redstone Caldera in Wyoming, Concordia erupted after nearly 700,000 years of dormancy. The eruption would greatly affect both sides as thick ash would keep planes on both sides grounded. Military maneuvers were also affected in Europa and in Asianna. Air travel was prohibited and supplies and people were ferried by ships. Seeing as both sides could no longer progress further, and with the eruption beginning to affect lives in North Amerigonna, the leaders of both the Heimdallr Council and the Neocons signed the Peace of Randgriz, ending the war and shifting to humanitarian response.
