Montecara Pòrta Conìxia railway station (Montecaran: Staxiò Montecara Pòrta Conìxia) is the main rail terminal in Montecara, serving over 60 million passengers per year. It is served by trains on the Euclostar, Trenalia, Viaurea, and Metrovìa networks and by buses and ferries operated by VM.
History
The idea for a major train station in the center of Montecara was born in the late nineteenth century by officials in the Gaullican administration that then ruled the city. The Gaullican Empire had built out the first rail lines beginning in the 1850s, and by the 1880s there was a clear need for both a central station for the rails that crisscrossed the island and an interconnected shipping terminal that would allow for easy passenger and cargo connections to mainland Euclea. Pòrta Conìxia was intended to serve both of these needs. Passengers would enjoy seamless connections between steamships and local trains, with cargo shuttled back and forth just as easily. Planning began in the early 1890s, with construction starting in 1896.
The station was the first major edifice in Montecara to be built in the Stìl Dècora style that was coming into vogue in turn-of-the-century Euclea. The architect, Demètrio Ribi, was one of the most famous Montecaran architects of the era and went on to design public buildings in Paretia and Etruria, among other countries. Building was completed in early summer 1904, and the first scheduled passenger train departed the station at 10:11 on 8 June 1904.

The station has around 70 retail tenants in both street-facing and interior locations. These include bars and restaurants, fast fashion chains, florists, newsstands, bookstores, souvenir shops, tobacconists, and a fish market. Current options include:
