Worldvision Song Contest 78 is the 78th edition of the annual Worldvision Song Contest. It was held in Valletta, Malta Comino Gozo.
In this edition, Diarcesia, Teesdexxia and Yvesia debuted in Worldvision Song Contest.
MCG1 were responsible for the broadcasting and hosting for this competition.
In this edition, Kalosia's Zlato won the contest with the song "Time and Tragedies" with 124 points. Tödlichebujoku came second, Izmedu third, Elejamie fourth and hosts Malta Comino Gozo came in 5th.

As usual in every edition, in order to choose the host of the Worldvision Song Contest, each country that has interest in hosting must present their bids to the world and each country choose the best of all bids. The country with the most bids then earn the right of hosting the Worldvision Song Contest.
In this edition, two hosting bids were received. However after the nomination process ended in a tie between Malta Comino Gozo and Spiritual Republic of Caryton, the Worldvision Committee broke the tie and chose Valletta as the host city.
The contest was broadcast live around the world from the Valletta Marina Arena.
Voting
This edition, national juries provided points to their favourite songs with12 points to the favourite, 10 to the second, then 8, 7, 6 and so on down to a single point for their 10th favourite entrant.
