Montecara, also known as Monty, is a person who has participated in NS since 2004. His nation, Montecara, has been located in Kylaris since 8 August 2019 after gaving been in Esquarium from 16 April 2015.

He was born in Dallas, Texas and lived there for ten years before moving to Washington, D.C., where he currently resides. He has a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in history.

He is an ardent foodie and dedicated amateur cook. His favorite cuisines include Italian, Mexican and Tex-Mex, Ethiopian, Thai, and Vietnamese. He is also a great fan of wine, especially of the red variety, and enjoys a nice tequila.

His other interests include film, theater, biking, design and architecture, and travel. Although he is picky about music, he loves St. Vincent, Warpaint, Wolf Alice, Khruangbin, alt-J, Tennis, Speedy Ortiz, MØ, Blood Orange, Arvo Pärt, and above all, Fiona Apple.
