The arcs symbolize the three Invictus continents of Euclea, Coius, and Asteria reaching out toward each other, and the incomplete circle symbolizes the ever-unfinished work of international cooperation in sport. The design also recalls the shape of the globe as well as the medals that are awarded to top athletes.
