Boxing at the 2022 Summer Invictus Games took place between 10 and 13 July at the Arène de la Citadelle in Verlois, Gaullica. Thirteen events were staged: 8 for men and 5 for women. Rizealand earned the most points, winning 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze, while Estmere won the most medals overall, with 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronzes.

Competition format

The competition consisted of 13 events categorized by weight. Men contested matched in these eight categories:

  • Flyweight (52 kg)
  • Featherweight (57 kg)
  • Lightweight (63 kg)
  • Welterweight (69 kg)
  • Middleweight (75 kg)
  • Light heavyweight (81 kg)
  • Heavyweight (91 kg)
  • Super-heavyweight (91+ kg)

Women participated in five weight categories:

  • Flyweight (51 kg)
  • Featherweight (57 kg)
  • Lightweight (60 kg)
  • Welterweight (69 kg)
  • Middleweight (75 kg)

There were 24 boxers in each event, a maximum of 1 per event per nation. The competition was a straight single-elimination tournament. A preliminary stages were held, reducing a number of participants to 16, while some received byes to the next round. Both semifinal losers were awarded bronze medals. Every match consisted of 3 three minutes rounds with a one minute break between them.

The "10-point must" scoring system was used, with 5 judges scoring each round. Considering total number of blows landed, domination of the bout and technique, each judge determined a winner for each round, awarding them 10 points, while loser received between 7 and 9 points. The scores were then added and the boxer with the higher score from majority of the judges won. The match could also be won by a knockout.
