Montecara–Enrico Dulio International Airport is an international airport located in the city-state of Montecara in Conitia, Esquarium. It is Montecara's only major airport and is situated directly adjacent to the country's urban core, covering an area of approximately 5 square kilometers. It is named after the Montecaran explorer, ambassador, and merchant Enrico Dulio.

The airport is owned and operated by Porti de Montecara, the state-owned port and airport management corporation, and operates 24 hours a day. It is a fortress hub for Aeracara, Montecara's flag carrier, as well as a hub for its subsidiaries, Aeracara Cargo and Aeracara Presto. It is also the major military air base for the Guàrdia di Stado. Air traffic control is provided by the military, and firefighting services are provided by the Spartoli.

Montecara–Enrico Dulio is a high-demand airport thanks to the city-state's prominent tourism and finance industries and strategic location on major air routes between Conitia, Nautasia, and Borea. It is also an important intermodal hub for air and sea freight thanks to Montecara's large seaport. It employs approximately 1,500 staff, not including those working in its shops, restaurants, and so on. It is thus an important part of the Montecaran economy and a vital link to the rest of Esquarium.

Because Montecara is a city-state, the airport is in the unusual position of being international-only (aside from incidental helicopter and military traffic). Its maximum capacity is 60 movements (30 landings) per hour.

Terminals

Montecara–Enrico Dulio has two passenger terminals: Terminal A and Terminal B. They are physically connected, and walking time is approximately 30 minutes end-to-end, though a shuttle service is provided. They share a common airside concourse, so there is no security checkpoint between the two terminals. Each terminal has its own customs and immigration facilities.

Terminal A has an area of 57,000 square meters and contains 34 gates. It is served exclusively by Aeracara and contains its flagship Vìla Aeracara lounge. Terminal B is smaller, at 52,800 square meters and 27 gates. It is served by some Aeracara flights as well as all other carriers that use the airport. The cargo terminal is physically separate.

There are plans underway to convert Terminal A into an EC-only facility, which would mean that passengers would not have to clear customs and immigrations checks. The conversion is expected to be completed by early 2020.

Ground and water transportation

The airport is linked to the city center by Metrovìa rail, with trains departing as frequently as every four minutes during peak times. The journey to Montecara Central railway station, with connections to mainland Conitia, takes approximately twenty minutes by train.

Metrovìa bus also serves the airport and connects to local and cross-island routes, including to the city center.

Taxis are readily available at curbside stands; the standard rate between the airport and the city center is set by regulation at a flat Ł175, which includes fare for up to four passengers and as much baggage as can reasonably fit in the taxi. Several companies offer limousine and private car service to and from the airport. Car and bicycle rental facilities are onsite.

One of the more unusual features of the airport is its dock, which can accommodate private vessels for direct air-to-sea connections. Passengers connecting to ferry services must transfer to their respective terminals.
