WorldVision Song Contest 105 was the 105th edition of the WorldVision Song Contest, and was hosted at Festival tal-Mużika Għain, on the island of Għain in Malta Comino Gozo. The contest was organized by the International Broadcasting Alliance (IBA), alongside the host broadcaster MCGBC. The edition was Malta Comino Gozo's fourth hosting of Worldvision, as well as the first Malta Comino Gozoan hosting outside of the capital city of Valletta.

The contest was won by Carrelie, marking their second win and giving them back-to-back wins. The Alezian Union finished second, for the second time in a row. Hosts Malta Comino Gozo finished in third position, debutants Uthossia placed fourth and Aenglide finished fifth. Other notable placings include: StrayaRoos achieved their best position in the contest so far placing ninth, and Robloxian Robloxia managed to recieve null points (zero points in the jury and televote) considering that the last time a country recieved null points was back in edition 98 where Placely Placington infamously placed 31st with no points with the song "Uoiauai".

Location

The contest took place on the island of Għain in Malta Comino Gozo. It was the second contest hosted outdoors. Għain, is the largest uninhabited island in the MCG islands. The name "Għain" comes from the Arabic letter غ (which the island is the same shape) which is the nineteenth letter of the Arabic alphabet it represents the sound in name and shape, and it is a variant of ʻayn. Its numerical value is 1000. It is also the 9th letter of the Maltese alphabet and is a digraph written as għ and pronounced 'għajn' (aighn in English). In speech, it is a silent consonant which has the function of lengthening the succeeding vowel.

The quirky flat little island only 7km2 in size has no inhabitants apart from the 10,000 or so partygoers that turn up every year for the Festival tal-Mużika Għain, a 2 day long party featuring some of the biggest MCG artists.
