The United Islamic Republic of Dmaskrass or simply Dmaskrass, is a Country in Southeastern Olivacia bordering the Fresian Confederacy and close of Adrinia. The country comprises of mostly tropical climates and beaches all along its extensive coast. The country's Capital is Al-Shawen, which also happens to be the most populated city in the country with over 14 Millions Inhabitants.

The civilization in Dmaskrass is relatively recent. Before the arrival of the Muslim Sailors, the Dmaskrass Peninsula was divided into 6 peoples, which are the Wesels, Tabgus, Ayanos, Quezato, Echoke and the Kutus who are still today the 6 different peoples of the country.

Pre-History

One day, Muslim Sailors decided to undertake a long journey to reach the continent of Olivacia because they've had heard that lands were still uncivilized somewhere. They first travelled around Thrismari, and notably went to the small island of Gorsko and converted the locals. But the most important thing was to find these uncivilized lands in Olivacia, so they decided to leave Thrismari to try to find it, but it was very dangerous because no Muslim Sailors had managed to arrive in Olivacia, but it didn't scare them.

Several months later, they finally arrived on land, without knowing if they were to the north, south, east or west, but at least they found unoccupied territory. There were 6 peoples who occupied the region, These people are of the same ethnicity, they just have different ideas and each speak different but similar dialogues.

History

The Muslims sailors arrived in Dmaskrass and took the opportunity to claim the whole territory for themselves and appointing them as the only rulers of Dmaskrass. The locals weren't really bothered by this situation because the Muslims gave them equal rights and promised to them that they will develop the region only if they convert to Islam and adopt Arabic as their main language. After centuries of separation, the people were united and shared the same culture, the same religion and the same language, they were now all the same. The territory was finally united.

But it won't last long since 6 years later, Fresian Confederacy invaded the territory in search of new territories. The country was annexed and placed as an "Occupied Region" for 2 months and had almost no rights. But after negotiations between the leaders of the 2 countries, an agreement was signed only if Fresian Confederacy made Dmaskrass a state like the others of the country, having the same rights as others, and letting the country be Muslim and still speaking Arabic alongside Anglish, which the Fresian Leader accepted without hesitation. For over 1000 years the country would be a full state of Fresian Confederacy, Dmaskrass will be developed and become the richest region in the Fresian Confederacy.

But around the 1960s, a sense of independence was ravaging the region, wanting to be independent. Fresian Confederacy, not wanting to lose its richest and most populated region, changed the status of Dmaskrass to an Autonomous state, granting them more power and less dependence. Which worked for almost 10 years, before a definitive request for independence via a referendum in 1969, with 98.4% for the independence of the country, which will be in force in 1972. And finally, on February 16, 1972, Dmaskrass obtained its independence from Fresian Confederacy, relations between the two countries are still very strong to this day.
