Inchyroa, officialy Monarchy of Inchyroa (Inchyroan: ㄉㄚˉㄋㄛ˙ ㄓㄛ ㄗㄨˋㄋㄌㄛˊ ㄓㄛ ㄫㄨˉ, Tãnỏ Cgo Cùnló Cgo Ngũ, ['ta˥.no˨ 'ʈʂo˧ 't͡sun˥˧.ʎo˨˦ ʈʂo˧ ŋu˥] (Speaker Icon.svg listen)) is a nation located in eastern Thrismari, bordering Chengsheng to the northeast, Lumakia to the southwest, and the Gulf of Kouma to the south.

Etymology

The term Ichyroa comes from The Land of the Inchyroans, a travel journal written by an unknown trader, published in 1689[1], by the now defunct Joqudy Print Company. It isn't known why the name was corrupted from the native name Ngirolï. [2]

Tãnỏ (ㄉㄚˉㄋㄛ˙) is the native name for Inchyroa.[3] It originates from the Proto Inchyroan terms for home and beach, *tap ['tap] and *kwheˇnot ['kʷʰeʔ.not] [4] respectively. The name was shortened from it's early form *Tapkwheˇnot to Tãnỏ through rapid speech.[4]
