It is comprised of (few) major islands and (many) minor islands. They lie north of Aramos and Sventsa, Rypalohnd also shares naval border with Sauthar in the north-west.

Etymology

Rypalohnd is diacriticless spelling of Rypalönd, which is shortening of Rypajin Ëjlöndy (Fish's Islands). With time both words merged and shortened into Rypalönd. Rypalönd is also commonly called Fyskylönd in informal Rypalöndish, instead of "Rypa" using the germanic-rooted Rypalöndic word "Fysky" (fish).
