The Queens Strait Regional Transit Authority (QSRTA) operates the Queens Strait Metro. The Metro was opened in 1955 as just the Line A or the Gallatin-Greycott Line. Line B serving Gallatin City Center to Rainy Day Harbor via the northern neighborhoods and Line C severing the Greycott CBD to the Hospitals district opened in 1958. Lines D (Gallatin City Center to western neighborhoods), E (Gallatin City Center to the eastern neighborhoods via the waterfront, and F Greycott CBD Loop were opened in 1968. Lines G (Greycott CBD to Port via New Gough Island International Airport) and H (Greycott City Outer loop) were opened in 1975. Line I (Gallatin City Center to North and South Neighborhoods via University of Gallatin) opened in 1988. Line J (Gallatin Waterfront Line from east to west) opened in 2006. The two new modern lines: Line K Greycott CBD to Northern neighborhoods and L (Second Crossing-Gallatin Government Center to City Center to Greycott CBD to Greycott City Outer Loop) opened in 2014. The newest lines opened in from Rainy Day Harbor CBD to the westside of Rainy Day Harbor known as line M. Line N stretched from Rainy Day CBD to the southwest of the city, and Line O known as the north mainline stretching from Rainy Day Harbor through the northern suburbs back to Greycott and also north to North Point village on Parasides Island opened in 2020.

Despite serving 1,523,000 residents in the Gallatin, Greycott, and Rainy Day Harbor city regions it carries 40% of all rides in the GGRTA system which had a total of 240,000 daily riders. With the Gallatin Trams coming in second with 200,000 daily riders. buses and bus rapid transit taking the remainder of 160,000 riders per day. Queens Strait Regional Transit Authority covers the Queens Strait urban area home to 2 million people. 30% of the Queens Strait urban area uses public transportation on a daily basis. With 600,000 riders on the GGRTA system.
