The Avadians were most notable for establishing the Avadian Empire in pre-Colonial northern Meredone, which was centered in what is now Layfet from antiquity to 1397, and represented the height of the Avadian civilization. The Avadian state prior to around 1002 was a loose collection of tribal states until they were unified by Malapacu. Over the course or the Avadian Empire, they used conquest and peaceful assimilation to incorporate the tribes of northern Meredonne with the exception of the powerful Oharu Civilization.
Today the Avadian civilization exists as a special autonomous tribal reservation in known as Avadia in the Layfetian state of Thentar
