Montilla (/monˈtiʎa/), officially the People's Republic of the Montilla (Spanish: República Popular de la Montilla [reˈpuβlika po.puˈlaɾ ðe la monˈtiʎa]), is an island country, comprising the island of Montilla, 4 other main islands, archipelagos, 3,192 smaller islands and cays surrounding the main islands. Montilla is located in the Sunadic Ocean, north of San Calia and west of Leogria. Guaitiao is the largest city and capital; other major cities include Navegantes and San Juan de la Montilla.

Montilla is a Marxist–Leninist one-party socialist state, in which the role of the vanguard Communist Party is enshrined in the Constitution. The country is considered authoritarian, with multi-party political opposition prohibited. Montilla is a multiethnic country with culture and customs deriving from diverse origins due to colonialism and immigration.
