The Third Republic of Montilla, also referred to as the Hot Republic (Spanish: República Caliente [reˈpuβlika kaˈljente]), officially the Republic of the Montilla, refers to the period of Montillan history from 1898 to 1943. The Third Republic started with the restoration after the military dictatorship of the Novembrist Junta by the Januarist Junta in 1898 and ended with the rise of renovationalism in the 1943 coup d'etat.
