Alejandro Salvador Espina Coronil (Spanish: [a.leˈxãn̪.d̪ɾo ko.ɾoˈnil]; born 16 August 1948) is a Montillan politician, jurist and writer who is the 5th and current General Secretary of the Communist Party of Montilla. As General Secretary, he is the most powerful person in the Montillan government. Alejandro Coronil has been a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party since 2004, and served as Minister of Public Security from 1985 to 2000.
