The Caliphate of South Fresia or simply South Fresia, is a Country in Southeastern Olivacia bordering the Fresian Confederacy and close of Adrinian. The country comprises of mostly tropical climates and beaches all along its extensive coast. The country's Capital is Bosry, which also happens to be the most populated city in the country with over 14 Millions Inhabitants. The country is multi-ethnic, the Major groups being Südlichewörter and Noardwurden but are predominantly Muslims.

Pre-History

One day, Muslim Sailors decided to undertake a long journey to reach the continent of Olivacia because they've had heard that lands were still irreligious there. They first travelled around Thrismari and converted the locals. But the most important thing was to find these irreligious lands in Olivacia, so they decided to leave Thrismari to try to find it, but it was very dangerous because no Muslim Sailors had tried to get in Olivacia, but it didn't scare them.

Several months later, they finally arrived on land, without knowing if they were to the north, south, east or west, but at least they've found unoccupied territory. They arrived in a peninsula where few inhabitants lived, all the inhabitants were pagans and therefore without religion. The Muslims began their mission by converting the locals to Islam. They will have succeeded in converting almost all the inhabitants.

However, a few years later, the Südlichewörter Reich decided to invade the Peninsula to have even more land. The Südlichewörters, being mostly religious-free and tolerant, didn't care much if they converted the locals. The only condition being that they can only convert the population in South Fresia, the new region which will be named Der Boden.

History

South Fresia under the Südlichewörter Reich

Der Boden will be a region of the Südlichewörter Reich for about 200 years until in 825 AD the Südlichewörter Reich and the Noardwurden Ryk signed the Treaty of Freundschaft to unify under one empire

South Fresia under the Normen Empire

under the condition that Noardwurden is spoken as the official language for trade and Südlichewörter was the official language for governance thus ending 75 years of war and the creation of the Normen Empire.

Though peace was made between the Noardwurden Ryk and the Südlichewörter Reich they had to find a figurehead for the empire who the majority of the states chose Handeliedster Fuskje to fill, Fuskje was an interesting woman as she had accomplished many things in her life that made her the Handeliedster of Kingdom of Handel so while she had many different achievements in her life her greatest one was raising her hometown from a poor settlement to a strategically important trade hub between the Südlichewörter Reich and Noardwurden Ryk making her the perfect monarch for times of peace and a capable diplomat/spy due to her manipulative nature. The Normen Empire was also a religious-free country, and the inhabitants of Der Boden stayed religiously to Islam. Lots of Noardwurden living in Der Boden converted to Islam since they were mostly irreligious.

But around the 1960s, a sense of independence was ravaging the region, wanting to be independent. Fresian Confederacy, not wanting to lose its richest and most populated region, changed the status of Dmaskrass to an Autonomous state, granting them more power and less dependence. Which worked for almost 10 years, before a definitive request for independence via a referendum in 1969, with 98.4% for the independence of the country, which will be in force in 1972. And finally, on February 16, 1972, Dmaskrass obtained its independence from Fresian Confederacy, relations between the two countries are still very strong to this day. Dmaskrass has since been an Absolute Monarchy governed along Islamist lines.
