North Memea(Grearabic Romanticized: Shaios Vaslaka) or officially known as The Republic Of North Memea(Grearabic Romanticized: Jumcratia Tosam Shaios Vaslaka) is a country in Northern Thrismari, Anteria, borders Yryell to the East, and Suoden to the West and it shares a maritime border with Azureden on the Gulf of Azureden. North Memea has a land area of 644,132 km^2 and, as of 2015, has a population of around 75 million people. Its capital and largest city is Al-Xandaria. It has a majority Grearabic population, with a small Arab minority. Its official language is Grearabic.

North Memea is an emerging economy, with it's economic growth rivaling neighboring countries. North Memea is divided into 10 states and a federal district.

Arabs, some of the country's earliest inhabitants, were replaced by Hellenic settlers between 3000 BCE to 1000 BCE, who according to local legend were lead by the explorer Memeros got blown off course whilst sailing to Insulamo. The Hellenic settlers from a distinctive Grearabic culture, which was a mixture of the Hellenic| and Template:Arabic people cultures. Around 410 BCE King Al-Xandar formed the Empire of Memea, which lasted till his death around 380 BCE. The empire was then spilt between his sons. His eldest son, King Al-Xandar II took over the northern portion of Memea, forming the Kingdom Of North Memea. In 245 AD Christianity arrived in Memea, with the local Memeans quickly adopting the religion. In 400 AD, King Al-Xeious caused a schism within the church forming the Memean Church. In the late 16th Century, North Memea became a central trade hub in the region as it was the only nation in the continent to grow olives, which was brought in by the Hellenic settlers. They also colonized land in Olivacia. In 1745 AD, the Decioformoso Dynasty who were the ruling dynasty of North Memea since 1750 AD was toppled by a revolt resulting in Wallib Barlibashar taking power, this resulted in the foundation of the Barlibashar Dynasty which would rule over North Memea till 1941. During the 19th century, North Memea failed to industrialize resulting in its status as a global power to diminish. This resulted in many of its colonies declaring independence from North Memea, and a subsequent political crisis. In 1941, the North Memean Spring occurred resulting in the death of the then current king King Talivo Barlibashar II. The power vacuum left by the death of the King resulted in the Memean Civil War, in which the Democratic Reformers won, after which the founded the Republic Of North Memea. Since then the Federal presidential constitutional republic has often had a tumultuous experience with democracy, which included the overthrow of a dictatorship by the 1977 Green Rose Revolution. An attempt was made during the 2015 Yalthens Uprising to reinstate the dictatorship, which failed.
