History

Mesozoic Prymalia

Two Dinosaurs, Velociraptor and Protoceratops locked in combat. Fossil Displayed at The Khälkhaagal Natural History Museum.

Mesozoic Prymalia Was full of amazing creatures, like the Velociraptor and Protoceratops depicted in this fossil. Others include Torvovenator which was the dominant predator of the time. There were also herbivores such as Tarchia, a creature with armor and a club tail.

Ancient Prymalia

Humans first settled in what is now The Prymalische Empire in about 13000 BC.

Prymalian Clan Era [357AD-1568]

The Prymalian Clan Era was a period of warlords and brutal infighting. The state was disunited and Prymalia as a state did not exist, until several clans united into the Turan Confederation.

Turan Confederation[1568-1690]

The Turan Confederation was a state made up of several clans, and is considered the first Prymalian Nation-state.

Prymalian Khanate[1690-1932]

The Prymalian Khanate was a predecessor to the modern day Prymalische Empire. In the 1st Prymalian Revolution, the Khaganate was ousted for a republican system.

Federal Republic of Prymalia [1932-1948]

The Federal Republic of Prymalia was a federal republic made by the overthrowing of the Khaganate. It is seen as a failed attempt to establish a democracy. Trust in the government went downhill when Business Oligarchs took control, causing major corruption in the nation. The republic suffered an economic crisis, causing many to lose their jobs. By 1943, many had turned to the far-left for solutions. This Culminated in the 2nd Prymalian Revolution, in where a People's Republic was founded.

People's Democratic Republic of Prymalia [1948-1975]

After the revolution, many Democrats and Monarchist took up arms, resulting in a insurgency in the south. This lasted until 1954 when the counter-revolutionaries were defeated. The government shut down elections, and banned all opposition parties, leading to the creation of a one-party state. The Government also enforced collectivisation on farmers, leading to a famine. Some in the government had very radical views, mixing Far-Right and Far-Left views together. This concerned many, but they expanded their influence, and eventually did a coup d'etat on the government in 1975.

National Revolutionary State of Prymalia [1975-1991]

The new government was a Ultranationalist Totalitarian state, led by Sükhbaataryn Tsedenbal, mixing left-wing ideas with right-wing ideas. Protests were brutally suppressed, and resistance of the regime was forced underground. The brutality of the government didn't go unnoticed, and received international condemnation. The government ignored these, and after the breakaway of Arabistan due to the government considering minorities as "Lesser", the government was overthrown in a bloody civil war called The Prymalian Civil War, and a military junta was established.

Prymalian Civil War [1986-1991]

The Prymalian Civil War was an event caused by the attempted Summer Coup of 1986. This coup failed, but the supporters of it took up arms against the socialist government. The socialists, fought against the counter-revolutionaries. The socialist movement was dominated by the government supporters, while the counter-revolutionaries were split between groups with the common goal of overthrowing the socialist regime. The counter-revolutionaries ended up winning in 1991.

Reconstruction Authority of Prymalia [1986-1998]

The government was a semi-democratic authoritarian democracy, and the insurgency in Arabistan was peacefully resolved in 1992. The government went through a transition of restoring democracy, by slowly establishing more rights. They also invited the Khan back in 1993, after 61 years of exile. In 1997, a new constitution was signed, and promised elections in the next year. This promise was fulfilled in 1998, in which the centre-right People's Party won the elections.

Economy

The Prymalian economy is heavily agrarian, mainly due to nomadic traditions left behind from centuries ago. This is why the country has a small and more spread out population for its size, and there is also a less concentrated population in the south of the country, excluding the most southern areas.

Infrastructure and Industrialization

Outside of the areas bordering the Khizuz sea, the infrastructure is fairly poor in these areas, on account of less people living there. The agrarian economy of these areas make up about 32% of the nations budget, making industrialization only possible in the northern areas bordering the Khizuz Sea, where there is a larger labor force.
