Amilagro, officially known as Amilagro Constituent City of the Empire of Vileria (Amilagran: 綠港憲法維萊裡亞國城市, Arnaud romanisation: Lòukáoung Syīnfǐp Úiilōilïâo Kǔuk Tsyhìengtsyhï, (IPA: [tba]) is a Constituent city of Vileria. With 7.2 million residents in a 318-square-kilometer (123sq mi) territory, Amilagro ranks among one of the most densely populated places in Anteria.
/brief history/
What used to be a sparsely populated area dedicated to framing and fishing is now one of the world's most significant financial centres and commercial ports. Amilagro's currency, the Amilagro dollar, is among one of the most traded currencies in the world. Although the city has one of the largest concentrations of ultra-high net worth individuals, and one of the highest per capita incomes in the world, severe income inequality occurs in the population. With the city seeing large ammounts of immigration, the housing sector has not kept up with demand, leading to a persistent shortage, ranking the city as one of the most expensive in the world. Amilagrans enjoy high quality health care, education, public transport, and fast internet connection speed, all of which have been vital to the economy
After it faced rapid modernisation in /tba/, the economy shifted from agriculture and fishing towards services, banking, and electronics. Its growth was largely based on international trade and economic globalisation, integrating itself into the world economy as the territory industrialised, through free trade, with minimal-to-no barriers and tariffs. Acting as a tax haven, it became a major aviation, financial and maritime shipping hub.
Amilagro is a unitary executive dependent territory of Vileria, with its legal system based on common law and customary law. The territory is a multi-party democracy, with its own parties independent of Vileria. The government has consistently ranked highly on the Corruption Perception Index. Amilagro is a highly developed territory and has a Human Development Index (HDI) of 0.942, ranking it among the most developed territories in Anteria. The city has high life expectancy, and public transport usage rates exceeding 90%.
