Task Force 141, colloquially referred to as "The One-Four-One," is a multinational special operations unit composed of members of Lucian, Zanarkian, New Akibander, Gallian, Nihhonese, Erebonian, Rubrumian, Alterian, Basel-Ebelian, Nibelheimian, Jutlander, Quenminese and Joyonghean. Its members are mostly composed of personnel with experience from the Second Lucis Civil War and had been recruited into a much more advanced state of combat training as well as new recruits. It is also the only organized Allied Task Force with Task Force 142 to have its own vanguard force consisting of the 9th Zanarkian Division, 7th Zanarkian Division, 8th New Akiba Division, the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Rubrum, and the Princess Raphtalia's Jutlandish Light Infantry as well as having its own Engineers department.

The Task Force is also the first in the world to immediately train graduate volunteers, given that most of the new recruits are graduates of the King's Military Academy of Manchester, Lanseal Military Academy and the Thors Military Academy and are adapted to a specialized training. The overall commander of Task Force 141 is Field Marshal Kiriya Kitagawa, one of the Lucis Army's most decorated officers and is known for his early specialized infantry experience, as well as being the headmaster of the said Military Academies.

The Task Force works cooperatively with the 6th Airborne Division and the 1st Airborne Division.

Formation

With the threat posed by the Imperial nations seeming evident, The Allied High Command needed to form as many specialized troops as possible to counter Imperial monstrosities and divisions such as the SS Paranormal Division, the Lorican Uzhastik Force, the Geheimabteilung, the Guado Phoenitic Action Group, ARPAGHARCON, ACRMRA and other specialized groups. The man who was chosen to organize was then, General Kiriya Kitagawa, who, under Noctis Lucis Caelum's knowledge is a decorated SAS operative as well as being recognized in the Erebonian Empire.

Kiriya immediately knew who he had to pick. He met Richard Philip Todd during the Exercise TRIOC and was pleased by his operational duties that he would like him to be his aide. His second choice was Klankain Auchinleck IV, the grandson of Klankain Auchinleck II and the best friend of Todd. He knew his grandfather and his grandson was as effective as a second frontline commander. Kiriya spoke openly with the two and settled an agreement. Richard became Kiriya's right-hand man; being the Field Commander of Task Force 141 with Klankain IV serving as his second-in-command. He also recruited troops from the Quenminese and Joyonghean Special Forces and incorporated them into the Task Force.

He also went to the Erebonian Empire to ask for support from his old command, the Thors Military Academy. He visited his old student, Erwin Neithardt and agreed to cooperate with his old professor. Erwin supplied Kiriya with students and academy staff with combat experience. Of the academy staff, Kiriya chose Waldemar Fegelein, a soldier-turned academy staff in charge of Special Operations Tactics with his second-in-command as Sarah Valestine, a dedicated professor. This recruitment paved way for Kiriya's creation of the second branch of Task Force 141, Task Force 142, composed of mostly academy graduates as well as militia from the Royal Gallian Militia.

To control the distribution of arms to the members, Kiriya chose Jonathan Vo, a Quenminese commander with a specialization in any types of weapons and small arms fire.

Operation Overdrive

In 21 May 2019, exactly a few days before the 75th Anniversary of Operation Highlord, Task Force 141 was called from its service in Asianna, during which the force was still fighting as part of Objective LXY. However, Field Marshal Kiriya Kitagawa was ordered to recall his Task Force in order to participate in the Allied Invasion of Finlandia, codenamed Operation Overdrive, in which the Allies decided that the best way to hasten the Imperial to surrender was an invasion through Finlandia, and into Fhirald.

The Task Force was attached to the 6th Airborne Division. Major Richard Todd was to command the force that was to paradrop or be inserted via glider behind enemy lines and secure the landing zones for the invasion force. On 5 June 2019, at 2100 hours, they departed from Tristain to carry out the first phase of the operation, which was to secure a vital town and bridge to prevent Imperial Panzers from potentially jeopardizing the operation.

Troop 15

The nickname Troop 15 is a nickname given to the 15 members of Task Force 141 who were known for carrying out majority of clandestine orders during the time when the formation was disavowed during the Eurasianna War. They normally would prevent themselves and the whole force from being caught by the Allied Military Police and being that they had to carry out unofficial orders, which was given by Field Marshal Kitagawa. During this time, they were being supplied by the Gneisenau Circle. They took the most hardest risks than most of the Task Force members. Their names were cleared by 2028 and TF 141 was no longer in the fugitives list. The troops included:
