Clement Ajto a.s., often shortened to Clement, is a Pelostani automobile manufacturer founded in 1950. The company is headquartered in Lozej, Pelostan.
Foundation and early times of Clement Ajto
Foundation
The company was founded in 1950, because when Vaklav Klement wanted to get his bike repaired at an authorized shop and sent a letter in Pelostani, he got a letter back in Marian, saying that if he wants them to repair his bike, he would have to send them a letter in a language they can understand. Angered Klement decided that instead of getting his bike repaired, he started his own bike company called Clement. Later on, as his bike company grew, his friend, Vaklav Laurin decided to join the company. After that, their sales sky-rocketed as Laurin knew way more about bikes than Clement. After the sales sky-rocketed, they decided to partner with the Mariocenian engineer Jotef Boc. Together, they developed the first-ever bike in Pelostan, however, the bike was deemed unsafe and unreliable. A few years later, they tried again, this time the motorcycle became a giant success.
The first car
After a few motorcycles and a new factory, they developed their first car. The car was named Clement - Super. The car was a rear-engined affordable family sedan. The car was designed by Clement & Klauring, and an unknown professional designer. It had 3 seats and two airbags, one for the driver and the other one for the front passenger.
Near Bankrupcy
In the years 1975, the company started losing tons of money, because of the management’s bad monetary management. With the last bit of money they had left, they decided to make a new car. They decided to expand their market internationally and decided that they should sell the new car model in the whole of Anteria. The new model was a more modern, front-engined family sedan that was also sold as a racing car. The car had 5 seats and 4 airbags, which had made the car more popular. The car became very popular all over Thrismari, especially the Thrismari Union.
Modern day
In the modern day, the company is doing well and is still on the rise in profits, stock, employees etc. It is operating world-wide, however is facing challenges in some countries, due to civil unrest or governments, that are opposed to the company, or Pelostan as a whole.
