The Navy is responsible for the protection of Montillan territorial waters, coastal areas and rivers. The Montillan Navy has a strength of 19,182 personnel as of November 2023.
The acronym "AGR", (Spanish: Armada de Guerra Revolucionaria) is used both as the official ship prefix for all the ships in the Montillan Navy, as well as a common abbreviation of the name itself.
