The figures regarding the population of Anteria are often considered to be necessary to understand the social, economic and historical situation of its nations. Distribution of the population in Anteria is highly unequal, and so is the population growth of its different regions.
Since the development of the Industrial Revolution in the 18th and 19th centuries, the population living in economically developed countries experienced a sharp increase, which was gradually lowered in the 20th century as a result of social changes to the point in which some nations have negative natural population growths nowadays. At the same time, undeveloped regions suffered a heavy increase in their natural population growth thanks to the arrival of new medicines and to the fact that fertility rates remained relatively stagnant. Although these two events affected most of Anteria, a sizeable number of isolated communities developed their population fluctuations in an independent way to them. Some other factors which have affected the variation of demographics in Anteria include migrations, diseases, wars, famines and economic booms and bumps.
