↑ 16 years of age is known as the age of Selective Consent, when adoloscents are allowed to experience intercourse after learning about it and meant for individuals of ages between 16 and 18, meaning, individuals aged from 16 to 18 can only consent to and have consentual intercourse with individuals aged 16 to 18.
