Death
Official records from during and after Iqentos' reign do not specify how he died. It is known that he was mortally wounded, and the wording used in most records suggests it was not accidental. Several histories written in the eighteenth century record that Iqentos was wounded in a duel, either for honour or training with members of his household, whereas modern historians argue that it occurred in battle, although Trellin had been at peace with its neighbours for most of a decade. It is often suggested the wound occurred while quelling a revolt, as rebellions are notoriously underdocumented in Trellin's court records.
