The Falkner I cabinet (Hesurian: Kabinett Falkner I, pronounced: [kabi:nɛt falknɐ]) is the currently operating cabinet of the Royal Government of Mascylla, which was formally appointed by Queen Dorothy I on 14 September 2016 after Prime Minister Thomas Falkner achieved the parliamentary confidence of the 24th Reichsrat.
The cabinet by composition is a coalition majority government of Falkner's Rehunion (RU), the Adwinian Citizens’ Party (ABP), and the Social Democratic Party (SDP). This arrangement, known in Mascyllary politics as a "grand coalition" (Große Koalition) or "blue-red coalition" (Blau-rot) after the traditional party colors, is its third historical iteration (the governments of Peter Zeschtemann and Wolfgang Behrest being the other two).
Composition
The cabinet consists of Prime Minister Thomas Falkner and the twelve Ministers. Fifteen of the named ministers head a department, while one member of the cabinet, the Minister for Specific Affairs and Chancellor of the Privy Council, serves as a mere administrative and bureaucratic role. The SDP and the RU both maintain 8 position, and the ABP has one, as follows:
