List of ongoing territorial disputes
Territory | Claimants | Notes |
---|---|---|
Nantai (excluding East Po'ai) | Luziyca Namor |
Luziyca annexed Nantai after the First Namo-Luziycan War; Namor has never recognized Luziycan rule of the region as legitimate, and regards it as an illegal occupation. Luziyca controls most of Nantai, including the capital Kenyen. Namor administers the municipality of East Po'ai, and claims the entire Nantai region as part of Nantai Prefecture, West Namor. It is widely speculated that the ongoing dispute is a possible cause of a future Namo-Luziycan conflict. In 2014 the issue was vaguely resolved when both countries agreed to recognize Nantai as "Namorese territory under Luziycan administration." That same year, Luziyca dropped its claim over East Po'ai, excluding it from the dispute. The recent agreement has rendered Namo's stance on reunification with Nantai unclear. The Republic of Namor on Peitoa also claimed Nantai during its time of existence. |
Orino | Katranjiev Luziyca |
Luziyca annexed Orino following the Battle of Orino, when representatives of Igor Sprskov's rebellion agreed to cede Orino. Following the defeat of the rebellion, Katranjiev refused to recognize the legitimacy of Luziyca's rule over Orino. While since the end of the People's Republic of Katranjiev, the Katranjian government no longer actively presses its claim over Orino, it has maintained that it has not abandoned its claim over Orino. |
Tower Islands | Ambrose Sjealand |
The Tower Islands have been a contentious part of Ambro-Sjealandic relations since the 1600s, when thy were disputed between the Sjealand and the newly-independent Kingdom of Ambrosia. The northern islands were historically home to a large population of ethnic Ambrosians, while the southern islands were dominated by a mix of Tyns, Laugarás, and Øic. The islands were taken by Amborse after the Great War of the North but reclaimed by Sjealand following the Continental War in 1923; Ambrose maintains that the 1923 settlement was signed under duress and was thus illegitamate under international law. After the War of the Njord in 1971, Ambrose pledged to refrain from "violent reunification" in the 1977 Mulford Conference, reestablishing diplomatic relations with Sjealand. However, they still maintain an active claim to the islands. |
Historical disputes, subsequently settled
This is a list of historical territorial disputes that were subsequently settled. Bold indicates one claimant's full control prior to the settlement of the dispute; italics indicates one or more claimants' partial control.

Ankoren | Template:Country data Ankoren Ainin Sjealand Luziyca |
1923 | 1926 | Following the Ashura Revolution, the new revolutionary government in Ankoren declared all colonial possessions, legations, treaty ports and concessions to be occupied territories. Driven by revolutionary fervor among the general populace, the new government initiated the Ankoreni Revolutionary War against Lyonese Ankoren invading the territory in 1923. Simultaneously, the new government negotiated the return of territories from Ainin and Luziyca. |
East Po'ai | Namor Luziyca |
1932 | 1990 | Prior to 1932, the eastern neighborhoods of Po'ai were controlled by Luziyca, but then the area fell under Liberationist Namorese control in a border skirmish between Namorese and East Luziycan armies. East Luziyca claimed East Po'ai to be part of the Republic of Nantai until 2014, when it dropped its claim. As a result, East Po'ai is no longer a part of the Nantai dispute. |
Namor | People's Republic of Namor Template:Country data Peitoa Republic of Namor |
1925 | 2006 | After the Namorese Civil War, the Republic of Namor on Peitoa continued to claim mainland Namor as territory of the RON. The PRN did not recognize the RON's claims, and saw the Peitoan archipelago as Namorese territory. Due to the One Namor policy, dual recognition of both the PRN and RON governments was not allowed. The dispute was settled after the Namorese Liberation Army launched a campaign against Peitoa, toppling the RON and making Peitoa a district of the PRN. |
