Citizenship in Anteria
The concept of citizenship varies depending on the nation, and so does the privileges and requisites of this. In the next table, each nation's policy regarding citizenship is shorted out:
Citizenship is given to all the individuals residing within the given nation
Citizenship is given to individuals born within the given nation and/or with national parents. Individuals who have resided within the given nation for a fixed set of time and/or have passed a citizenship exam may also obtain the citizenship
Citizenship is only given to individuals born within the given nation and/or with national parents
Citizenship is given on the basis of ethnicity/gender/religion/social class

Agarntrop | 1982 | Citizenship in Agarntrop is specified in the new constitution introduced in 1982. It set out these criterias for citizenship:
-Any individual who has legally emigrated to Agarntrop and resided there for over 5 years may be granted citizenship with domestic office approval. -The children of any two individuals described as above or of one individual described as above and another which resides in Agarntrop legally may be granted citizenship. -The children of one individual residing in Agarntrop who has legally emigrated here whether or not they meet the citizenship requirements and another who does not reside in Agarntrop shall not be granted citizenship until the other legally emigrates to Agarntrop. -Agarn citizenship cannot be bought or given on the basis of property ownership under any circumstances. -Individuals recognised as illegal immigrants by the domestic office and their children will not be granted citizenship until they are legalised. | |
Aquariea | 1933 | The question of citizenship was addressed specifically in the 1933 Congressional Convention. As such, an individual who is born in any territory of Aquariea or has an immediate relative who is of Aquarian citizenship will have citizenship. Note: Aquarian Law defines "Immediate Family Member" as the following: Grandmother, Grandfather (Grandparents), Mother, Father (Parents), Wife, Husband (Spouse), Child(ren), and Sister, Brother (Sibling(s).) This would include same-sex families and through adoption. Requirements are outlined:
- Once in Aquariea on a valid visa for at least 2.5 years, an individual may apply for Residency status. - After obtaining Residency status, an individual must live in Aquariea for 5 years, after-which the immigrant & their family may apply for full citizenship (Note: Only one individual of the family may become a citizen & thus their immediate family members may apply immediately through citizenship without having ever step foot in Aquariea with or without a visa.) Note: Those with serious criminal offenses (primarily violent crimes) are usually restricted from obtaining visas, residency, or citizenship; there are exceptions, however, it is on a case by case basis. Minor crimes are acceptable so long as they are truthfully explained in detail. A criminal offense does not count towards this restriction if the criminal act is legal in Aquariea but illegal in their country of origin (such as differing drug laws, etc.) | |
Astariax | 1997 | Astariaxi citizenship is automatically given to any individual born within Astariaxi borders or to Astariaxi nationals. Citizenship tests are taken after 8 years of living in Astariax. | |
Axmanie | 1860 | The Axmaniean citizenship which was establish by the constitution in 1860 is based on the principles of Jus sanguinis or birthright. The constitution says:" A person is considered an Axmaniean citizen when both of his parents have axmaniean citizenship. If one parent has a foreign citizenship and no Axmaniean one, then their child is no citizen and must choose his nation of choice at the age of eighteen." | |
Aziallis | 1917 (Last revised 2016) | Individuals born in Aziallis (within the sovereign borders of Aziallis, including the Overseas Regions) automatically gain Azillian citizenship. Immigrants willing to become Aziallis Citizens can easily do so. Aziallis grants Permanent residency to Non-DU citizens after 18 months of continuous inhabitation and a citizenship after 4 years of continuous inhabitation while the figures for DU citizens are 6 months and two years and for Special Scchedule Nations are 12 months and 3 years. For non-continuous inhabitation, a citizenship is granted after spending 7 years in Aziallis wihin 12 years of non-continuous inhabitation. Individuals investing more than 7.5 million Quasa in Aziallis within a year (in any of the yearly revised industries or scheduled properties) are also given Honourary Dual Azillian Citizenship.

Gabrielland | 1927 | Gabrielt citizenship is not automatically given to any individual born within the borders. One must have at least one parent who is a citizen (if born within the borders of the nation). If an individual is born outside the borders of Gabrielland, both parents must be citizens. Citizenship tests are available for Permanent Residents after living 15 years continuously or 20 years noncontinuous. | |

Paslin | 1905 | Citizenship for Paslin has been set since it's creation, and the rules are still followed today. Paslinian citizenship is automatically given to those born in Paslin, those with Paslin parents or adopted by Paslin parents, single or not.
Those wishing to immigrate will have to come to the immigration center to see if they meet requirements for citizenship, some of those requirements being if they have lived in Paslin for a certain number of years, if they have been involved in extreme crimes, etc. If not, they will be allowed to live in Paslin for a certain number of years, and if they manage to do so without being caught for doing any crimes that are considered dangerous and extreme by law, they will be accepted as a citizen. | |

Wolfgalia | 1886 (Last revised 2002) | Wolfgalian citizenship is automatically granted to all individuals born in continental Wolfgalia or any of its island territories and to all individuals born or adopted of two Wolfgalian parents. Individuals with one parent of Wolfgalian citizenship are granted citizenship if the other parent is of citizenship to any WALD, Triumvirate, DU, or select CIN nations, or if the Wolfgalian parent is raising the child as a single parent.
International individuals who do not qualify for the stated requirements may be tested for and granted citizenship after seven years of residence in Wolfgalia over a span of twelve years with at least four of those years being consecutive. Wolfgalia does allow dual citizenship, although all individuals applying for dual citizenship must specify that on their citizenship application form, otherwise Wolfgalia will send a notice of termination of citizenship to the other nation with which the individual maintains citizenship. | |
Mokingpudova | 1901 (revised in 2019 with the creation of EMA) | Mokinian citizenship is automatically granted to all individuals born in Mokingpudöva and to all individuals born or adopted of two Mokinian parents. Individuals who are citizens from any nation in EMA will only have to go through a background check and to live in Mokingpudöva for 6 months.
Individuals who wish to become a citizen of Mokingpudöva, but are not born/adopted from Mokinian parents or apart of EMA will need to take a medical, a background check, and live in Mokingpudova for atleast 1 and a half years. |
